Rescuzilla Animal Rescue of NYC works via Animal Care & Control to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs from New York City’s overcrowded and underfunded shelter system. 90% of our dogs are pit bulls; not just because that is the breed most in need but because we love and adore this most misunderstood breed of dogs. We are selective about what dogs come into our group, and try and focus on those who would be otherwise overlooked and consequently face euthanasia.
