Midtown Groom & Board and Austin Subaru are throwing Austin's first ultimate dog show. The Midtown Mutt-minster, a 'best in show' competition, will highlight Austin's true mixed breeds! Benefitting our beloved local organization, Austin Pets Alive, and hosted by Jason & Deb from 101x, the event will be held at the Scoot Inn on Saturday October 1st from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Enter your mixed-breed pups for a chance to win the title of Mighty Mutt 2011 and a year's worth of dog food from your local Bark 'n Purr Pet Supply! Entry is $25 per dog, per category and the registration deadline is September 30, 2011. Our competing categories include: I'm So Ugly I'm Cute | Most UnIdentifiable Breed | Funkiest Features | and Best Trick! The winner of each category will compete for the title of Mighty Mutt 2011, judged by board members of Austin Pets Alive! Join us for an afternoon filled with fun, woofs, and hilarity. Even if your pup isn't entered into the competition, come out to watch the show and peruse the booths set up by some of your favorite local dog-friendly businesses!
